Care Receiver Testimonial

Today, we received a very sweet message from a Care Receiver. See below:

“Thank you so much for all you do for people.

My “delivery guy” ——-, recently retired from volunteering. He always took time to chat with me, ask how I was and truly cared.

——- called and asked if he could stop buy with produce from his own garden, and I said absolutely!

He came with some wonderful veggies for me.

I asked if he’d like to visit for a while and he said yes.

We chatted about all kinds of things. He like animals which was good because my dogs went right up to him for pets and tickles.

I hadn’t been feeling well lately and he was just what the doctor ordered. He made me smile, he made me laugh.

Thank you Faith In Action. Because of you I’ve made a new friend.

What a GREAT reminder that we have/had absolutely amazing and compassionate Volunteers who genuinely care about our Care Receivers. And we are forever thankful for everything they do.
